PFF releases their snap numbers earlier than the NFL so I have used them for the data below. In the following charts, only players that are game day actives will be listed. If they played no snaps they have a 0 next to their name. Grey boxes show a player was inactive or no longer on the roster.
Here are the offensive snap counts for the season so far. Each week I will update this chart with the game by game breakdown as well as information on how many players from each position play. The numbers next to each position is how many of that position played per snap.
Key offensive takeaways:
With how bad Gabriel played in the second half today the door is certainly open for a conversation about Sanders starting after the bye. It will really depend on how Sanders is doing in practice, learning the playbook and other factors as much as Gabriel's play.
Sampson has clearly passed Ford as the teams second back. If Judkins is healthy then Ford being moved during the bye and R Sanders being active is very much a possibility. My gut says they stick with the three backs for the majority of the season but the conversation is certainly going to be happening.
It might be coming together finally for Thrash, the last two weeks have been good but also keep in mind we are talking about three catches so don't over hype it. Tillman is likely back after the bye and should return as a starter as the others have been underwhelming.
The interior of the offensive line remains good, Conklin is serviceable but Robinson struggled. I have belief he can working it out, hopefully the bye allows him to get fully into the team and what he needs to do.
