"We started off great, but I mean, we lost all momentum and just couldn't stick to our game plan, and then we just sit back and throw the ball at the end of the game. It's never a good position for the team to be in."
(On the decision to run more passing plays on offense)
"A lot of it is just first down production. I mean, if you can get four or five yards on first down, then you can get the trust to keep doing it, and we just got to do more of that."
(On the play of Dillon Gabriel)
"You know, it is a road environment, but I think he did a good job. We just got make more plays."
(On going into the bye week with a 2-6 record)
"Definitely not the place where we want to be, but it's a good break. Unfortunately, I thought we had a really good week of practice with a lot of positivity around the team. You can feel it, and to come out and play like this, it's disappointing, but we have nine games left after the bye. We have got to stay together and figure out a way just to play better complimentary ball. You know, really, you know, offensively. Defensively, we played fantastic, I mean, I can't say enough about them. It's the offense, we're letting them down."
(On the play of Myles Garrett)
"I think I am happy that I don't have to block him, that's for sure, but I really just feel bad again. He had five sacks or whatever it was. We can't do anything offensively. It's a bummer."

"Yeah, it's tough, you know. We just got to find a way, find a way to win. We just didn't play good enough, across the board, including myself, and you know, we just got to do better, be better, and find a way."
(On the efforts of the offensive side of the ball)
"We got to help each other out. We've got to all play complementary football. That's the biggest thing in this game. When we're not doing that, we're going to struggle. So I think that's as simple as it gets. We've just got to all help each other out and play together, and we didn't do that today. So we've got to find a way to do that moving forward as best as we can, and that's going to give us our best chance of winning."
(On Patriots QB Drake Maye)
"Yeah, he's a great quarterback, poised. He came out here, got the win, you know, credit to him. He's a good player for their team. Yeah, they got the job done and we didn't."
(On what's important going into the bye week)
"Yeah, definitely reset. We've got to reset and, you know, come back ready to catch fire. We've got to stick together during these hard times, and we just find a way to get back on track, that's the biggest thing."
(On the Patriots being able to get a couple of good runs against their defense)
"Yeah, I mean, they made some plays, they get paid just like we get paid, and yeah, they were able to make some plays and you know credit to them. We got to watch the film, and see how we get better and eliminate some of those plays."

(On the performance in the second half)
"We did some good things on the first drive and stalemated. We went into halftime with a good plan. I just felt like we didn't put it all together. We had a chance to play complimentary football on a turnover and didn't capitalize. [We made] simple mistakes which led to a big disparity in score. It stinks, but we were right there going into the half. A lot of games are tight but we were right there. One bad quarter. It kind of got away from us. Going in the fourth having two good drives. It's just, like, can we get that earlier and be able to establish the run? They kind of did what we wanted to. Misdirection, stuff like that, and just stay with the run and the time of possession and ground, ground."
(On the game plan)
"I feel like Coach formulates plays to where I feel like any play can be explosive. The first drive, going against that defense that hasn't let up an explosive run all year. The first drive, [we had an] explosive run, so we are right there. We're doing the right things. How can we continue to do those right things? The runs might be stopped. First drive they had runs that got stopped. A couple big plays. It was tight. Bend-don't-break defense and to score on the first drive. Awesome. Especially the way we scored on a run action pass. Our guy was wide open, so it just feels like we are right there. We knew we had a good game plan. The same plan that was going to be, we were going to try to stick with it. It just got away from us and we can't run the ball because it takes too much time to run the ball."
(On Dillon Gabriel's performance)
"He' been protecting the ball, 100% ball security so far. A couple balls got away from him and that stinks because I don't know many guys, young guys, or old guys, that work as hard as him. You hate to see it but you know at the end of the day when you're passing the ball a lot there is a chance of bad things happening."

(On how the game got away from them)
"I don't know. I am going to have to watch film and figure it out just like everybody else. I have 100% confidence in this offense and there is no quit in this team. We are going to fight until the roof falls off, and hopefully it doesn't fall off."
