Will West Ham be beyond saving come January?

**Even a big January window might not be enough to save West Ham.**

From every possible angle, West Ham looked doomed this season. The “too much quality to go down” argument is clearly starting to fade away, and the realisation has set in that the club are in a dire situation.

A defeat to Leeds is obviously a huge blow to their chances of survival, but the other results haven’t particularly helped them. Even if they were to win their next two, it’s now unlikely they’d be out of the drop zone.

Given how difficult their fixtures are until the end of the year, it wouldn’t be surprising if they are too far gone by January to be saved by any incomings.

The only chance our Irons have is if they sign a starting: striker, midfielder or two, two centre backs, and a goalkeeper.

As much as I hate to say it, I think West Ham are beyond saving the season. I’m desperately hoping for something to prove me wrong, but with each week it looks more and more unlikely that things will turn around.
