LeBron James has been out.
Now, Luka Doncic is missing for the Los Angeles Lakers, too.
Doncic is a surprise absence, expected to be out for a week, with more details here.
James hasn't played yet this season, though, and it's not exactly clear when he'll be back.

Why isn’t LeBron James playing tonight?
LeBron James remains out with an injury as the Lakers have reached the third game of their season.
James is dealing with sciatica on the right side of his body, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Sciatica causes pain and weakness in the lower back and leg. It's not something James has been documented as having dealt with before.
When James was diagnosed with the sciatica, he was expected to be out for three to four weeks. The Lakers would hope to have him back in early November.
Doncic had to carry a heavy role in the first two games with no James.
But without Doncic now, too, it's a miserable situation for the Lakers.
They'll need Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura to carry a heavy load.
The Lakers only have nine healthy players overall for Sunday night's game, including Bronny James. Maybe LeBron will get to see his son play in the NBA for the first time this season.
