PITTSBURGH --Pittsburgh Steelers center Zach Frazier is active this week despite being questionable with a calf injury. Frazier was limited on Wednesday and Friday and did not practice on Thursday. Despite that, he still felt he would be able to suit up and play.
Frazier went through a dynamic pregame workout that included stretching his calf and testing different movements he would have to do during the game. After going through it with a trainer, Frazier came out better for wear and will now play.
Frazier suffered the injury on the second drive against the Bengals, leading to the issue. He has a sleeve on his calf that is currently helping support that calf injury.
Head coach Mike Tomlin hinted that multiple Steelers players could be limited early this week with injuries they suffered against the Bengals, but Frazier was the only one to pop up on the injury report.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Scotty Miller is out with a finger injury. His finger issue happened during practice, and it is unknown just how severe the injury is right now. Ke’Shawn Williams will step up for him in his place.
Meanwhile, outside linebacker DeMarvin Leal, defensive lineman Logan Lee, and guard Andrus Peat are healthy scratches once again, which has become standard over the last few games.
