The NFL machine moves at blazing speed. Before one week of the regular season is over, the media (I guess I’m included) want to talk about the upcoming week.
Weeks of the season start earlier thanks to Thursday Night Football, which means teams have to make quick decisions.

The Cleveland Browns were dominated in every aspect in their Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots. The writing is on the wall for head coach Kevin Stefanski.

However, it hasn’t been all Stefanski’s fault for how things have played out in Cleveland. The franchise needs a fresh start in the front office as well.
Zac Taylor – Cincinnati Bengals
Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor speaks at a press conference on Monday, October 20, 2025.
The Cincinnati Bengals had the worst loss of the season in their Week 8 matchup with the New York Jets. Yes, the team is without quarterback Joe Burrow. However, things in Cincinnati have been getting worse each season since their Super Bowl LVI appearance.

Jonathan Gannon – Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals were off this week, but that doesn’t mean head coach Jonathan Gannon gets a free pass. The Cardinals have a massive Monday Night Football showdown with the Dallas Cowboys next week. Bad results in that game could mean a regime change is coming.
Mike McDaniel – Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins picked up a much-needed win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8. Unfortunately, that won’t be enough for head coach Mike McDaniel to keep his job. McDaniel is going to need a miracle to stay on the sidelines for future seasons in Miami.

Let’s talk about the team the Dolphins beat. The Atlanta Falcons dropped to 3-4 on the season, in a year where many expected the franchise to take a major leap.
Raheem Morris is in his third season with the Falcons and has yet to earn a winning record. Morris may get an entire season to save his job, but time is running out.
Brian Daboll – New York Giants

The New York Giants were supposed to be resurrected after Jaxson Dart was announced as the starting quarterback. Unfortunately, that has not been the case.
