Brandon McManus's 57-yard field goal fell short for the Packers to open a big second quarter for the Steelers. They took over at their 47 after the miss and Kenneth Gainwell ran 9 and 8 yards to set up Boswell's 50-yard field goal that cut the Packers' lead to 7-6 with 12:18 left in the half.
Boswell's third long field goal of the half -- a 48-yarder -- gave the Steelers a 9-7 lead at 5:52 before halftime. Ke'Shawn Williams' 16-yard punt return set up the scoring drive. Key plays included a 12-yard Rodgers pass to Ben Skowronek, a defensive hold on third-and-8, and a 9-yard run by Jaylen Warren.
A second consecutive three-and-out by the Steelers' defense set up their first touchdown, a 2-yard Rodgers pass to Metcalf. The key plays of the scoring drive were a punishing 17-yard run by Warren around left end, a 14-yard run by Gainwell around right end, and a 21-yard defensive pass interference call on third-and-8 that gave the Steelers a first down at the Green Bay 15. A rollout pass for 10 yards to Metcalf set up the short touchdown throw on a slant pattern by Metcalf.
Following a missed 44-yard field goal by the Packers, the Steelers led at halftime, 16-7.
The Packers got back in the game in the second half. The Packers drove 90 yards in 9 plays for a touchdown, a 9-yard Love pass to Savion Williams. The key play of the drive was a 59-yard catch-and-run by tight end Kraft on a third-and-5 call. The touchdown cut the Steelers' lead to 16-14 with 8:48 left in the third quarter.
The Steelers answered with Boswell's second 56-yard field goal of the game. The key plays of the drive were a 24-yard pass to Metcalf on a slant and an 11-yard pass to Warren out of the backfield as the Steelers led by 19-14 with 5:34 left in the third.
Packers regained the lead with a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter. A 33-yard catch by Christian Watson on a third-and-7 pop-up heave by Love put the ball at the Pittsburgh 7. Two plays later, Josh Jacobs ran for a 3-yard touchdown and the conversion pass to a wide open Romeo Doubs gave the Packers a 22-19 lead with 14:55 left to play.
