Mikel Arteta's side have made a huge decision
Arsenal's Premier League title aspirations received a significant boost with a victory over Crystal Palace, extending their lead at the summit of the table.
Heading into Sunday's clash, the Gunners were two points ahead of second-placed Sunderland and had a game in hand. With Liverpool and Chelsea both suffering surprise defeats on Saturday, Arsenal have now solidified their position with another commanding win.
This means Mikel Arteta's squad have now chalked up seven consecutive victories across all competitions. Such form has seen them tipped as favourites to clinch the Premier League title this season, 22 years after their last league triumph.
While it's still early days in the season, Arsenal's impressive form has prompted Pep Guardiola to make his own prediction about the title race. His team, Man City, are also expected to be in contention for the crown, with star striker Erling Haaland hitting top gear.

Pep Guardiola has made a bold title prediction
Guardiola has thrown his hat into the ring regarding the title race, predicting that Arsenal will drop "few" points over the course of the season, reports the Mirror.
Ahead of his team's journey to Aston Villa, Guardiola singled out Arteta and Slot's teams for commendation, sharing his thoughts on who would be in the running for the title by season's end.
"In the Premier League, I have the feeling now that Arsenal is not going to drop much points," he said. "So that is the reality. I have that feeling with Arsenal, with Liverpool as well.
"The distance, three, four points at this stage is nothing," he added. "I always had the feeling that both teams and maybe another one, they will lose few, few points. That's why we have to be there."
