When Dastan Satpaev will join Chelsea's first team squad as Kairat Almaty chief confirms status

Chelsea wonderkid Dastan Satpaev is enjoying a meteoric rise over in Kazakhstan, and now his current club’s owner has confirmed when exactly he will move to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have high hopes for Satpaev after making him one of their many young signings from around the world. They are already enjoying the benefits of beating their elite rivals to deals for Andrey Santos and Estevao Willian.

The Kazakhstan international is enjoying his first campaign as a Champions League player, however Satpaev was frustrated by David Luiz and Pafos as they searched for their first win.

Kairat Almaty secured their second consecutive title over the weekend with a draw against Astana, with the 17-year-old being the one who stepped up with the goal in the second half.

Dastan Satpaev to officially join Chelsea in August

It is clear that Kairat would love to keep hold of their promising young star, however club owner Qairat Boranbaev is well aware he is Chelsea bound.

As per Scout in Eurasia, Boranbaev confirmed that he was able to move to the Premier League side when he turned 18, meaning he would be departing less than three months after the start of the upcoming Kazakhstani season.

He said: “Until he turns 18, he won’t be able to move to England, so next season he will stay with us – playing the first half of the season for Kairat until June–August, and then he will join Chelsea’s first team.”

Satpaev flew out of the blocks in terms of goals and assists in the recently-ended campaign, and ended with a combined 26 domestically.

Satpaev tipped for big things already

The youngster was also crucial in his side booking their place in the Champions League for the first time, setting up iconic matches in their club history against Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Satpaev has already been tipped to surpass Nicolas Jackson within two years, as the Blues still search for a permanent solution for the Senegal international.

Despite him being eligible to join the Blues as soon as August, a loan to Strasbourg is most likely what awaits him when he departs Kairat.

Santos, Kendry Paez and Mike Penders have all featured for the Ligue 1 side at some stage, and are all tipped to make it as first team players at Stamford Bridge.
