Drake Maye continues to put together impressive numbers week in and week out, and that trend continued on Sunday.
The quarterback threw for 282 yards and amassed a 135.8 QB rating in the Patriots’ 32-13 blowout win over the Cleveland Browns. It marked the seventh straight game Maye reached at least 200 passing yards with a quarterback rating of at least 100.
Only four other quarterbacks have reached that feat, according to NFL plus:
Peyton Manning (2004)
Tom Brady (2007)
Aaron Rodgers (2011, 2020)
Patrick Mahomes (2018)
Maye’s performance — 18-of-24 with three touchdowns — earned him “MVP!” chants from the Gillette Stadium crowd.
“It’s been really cool to see the difference from last year to this year. Man, it’s been a journey and the fans have been through it the last couple years,” Maye said after the game. “Credit to them. ... The best fans in the league and they continue to show out every week.”
The win marked the fifth straight for New England as it sits atop the AFC East standings. Maye has now surpassed his win total from the 2024 season when the Patriots finished 4-13.
