Cavs light up the downtown sky with epic drone show after home-opener win over Bucks (photos)

CLEVELAND, Ohio - After the Cavs opened their home season with a 118-113 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, hundreds of fans stuck around outside Rocket Arena for a jaw-dropping surprise: a 500-drone light show dancing above the Cuyahoga River.

From the moment the drones rose like colorful bubbles in the sky, the crowd was hooked: oohs, ahhs and cheers filled the air as formations lit up the night with Cavs pride.

We’re talking the Cavs logo, mascots Moondog and Sir C.C., and even glowing jerseys of Cavs stars Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell.

Mitchell’s jersey stole the show, drawing the loudest cheer of the night.

Produced by Skyworx Drone Shows, the largest drone show company in the U.S., the 10-minute spectacle featured their newest ultra-bright drone tech, visible for miles across downtown Cleveland.
