Wolves have received a takeover bid of over £410m from John Textor, who recently sold his stake in Crystal Palace, to take over the club, according to a report from The Athletic.
Wolves are going through an incredibly tricky period at the moment as they sit at the bottom of the Premier League, and are still searching for their first win this season. Their latest defeat has sparked further issues, with Vitor Pereira confronting fans at Molineux as the supporters voiced their disappointment following a last-minute winner for newly promoted Burnley.
Despite their shocking start to the season, GIVEMESPORT understands that Pereira isn't in any immediate danger of being sacked. The Wolves boss recently signed a new three-year deal with the Midlands club, and he looks set to be staying in the hot seat, at least for now.

According to a report from The Athletic, Wolves have received a £410m+ bid from Textor to take over the club, as he hopes to add to his Eagle Football Group portfolio. EFG also own stakes in Brazilian side Botafogo, French outfit Lyon, and Belgium's RWDM Brussels.
It's claimed that an offer is unlikely to be accepted, as Fosun isn't interested in Textor's Eagle shares as he only wants to sell a minority stake in the club. The report does also claim that if Textor were to buy a club in England, it's more likely to be a Championship side. Textor has been looking at various clubs in the second tier, including Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday, and Watford, among others.
Fosun doesn't appear to be interested in a full sale of Wolves as it stands, but that does hint that they could be looking to receive some external investment to help them head back in the right direction. It's been a tricky start to the season and it doesn't appear to be getting any better, with a host of their summer transfer window signings struggling to hit the ground running.
As a result, it might not be investment in the playing squad that Wolves have been missing, and simply better management and planning behind the scenes.
