Simon Hooper is the man in the middle for Swansea City’s Carabao Cup last-16 clash with Manchester City on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
The Swindon official is taking charge of a Swans fixture for the first time since a 2-1 Championship victory over West Bromwich Albion in 2021.
The vastly-experienced Hooper is a regular Premier League official, having first officiated in the top-flight during the 2017-18 campaign.
So far this season he has taken charge of seven fixtures, and handed out 33 yellow cards and two reds.
On Wednesday, Hooper will be assisted by Adrian Holmes and Marc Perry, while Josh Smith will be the fourth official.
