TBR Football understands Manchester City are currently leading the race among Premier League rivals to sign Jeremy Monga.
Manchester City came close to securing the 16-year-old last summer, but at that time, Monga chose to sign his scholarship forms with Leicester.
The teen winger has since become a first-team regular for the Foxes, which was a key factor in his decision to stay.

Despite this, City’s interest has persisted, and they are reportedly preparing a fresh approach. Leicester, however, cannot prevent Monga from leaving, as he is not eligible to sign a professional deal until he turns 17 next June.
Sources: Tottenham, Chelsea and Man United and Newcastle also monitoring Jeremy Monga
City are not alone in their pursuit. Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle are all understood to be monitoring the England youth star closely.
Monga has previously been happy to remain at Leicester due to the first-team opportunities he has been afforded – the club’s main hope of retaining their homegrown talent.
Our chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, added: “Monga is a generational talent. At just 16, he already has more first-team appearances than players like Rio Ngumoh and Max Dowman, who have made huge impacts in the Premier League this season.
“But let’s not forget, Monga has already played in the Premier League and previously turned down approaches before signing his scholarship.
“Interest remains high, and there is a belief that by January he could be ready to make a move.
“Leicester are hoping that giving him regular first-team opportunities will convince him to stay until the summer, when he can sign a professional deal.
“At that point, the club could either sell him or at least secure a fee, rather than risk losing him for minimal compensation.”
