Everton have splashed the cash on strikers over the last 10 years, with Oumar Niasse a notable misfire.
David Moyes is encountering a problem many before him at Everton have faced.
Put simply, Everton’s strikers are not scoring goals.
Beto is struggling, and Thierno Barry has yet to really settle in the Premier League.
This has been going on for years at Everton, with the likes of Cenk Tosun, Moise Kean, and Neal Maupay among those to flounder.

Oumar Niasse signs for Micah Richards in Baller League
Sandro Ramirez was a disappointment, and Youssef Chermiti is battling to prove himself at Rangers after making no impact at Everton.
So many strikers have failed to shine in Everton shirts, and Oumar Niasse suffered a similar fate.
Niasse joined Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5million in January 2016 after shining in Russia.

The move to Everton didn’t quite work out as Ronald Koeman didn’t fancy the Senegalese frontman.
Niasse scored nine times in the 2017-18 season but finally left on a free transfer in 2020.
Now 35, Niasse has made a surprise move after agreeing to play in the new season of the Baller League.
The six-a-side league, fronted by KSI, returns for season two on Monday night, and Niasse will be in action.
Niasse and former Manchester City midfielder Stephen Ireland have both been snapped up by Deportrio, who will be managed by Micah Richards and Daniel Sturridge.
Niasse has been signed as a ‘wildcard’, meaning he has only been signed for Monday’s fixture against Wembley Rangers AFC.

Where has Oumar Niasse played since leaving Everton?
Niasse spent months out of the game after leaving Everton in 2020, before joining Huddersfield Town in 2021.
The striker then headed to Burton Albion, Morecambe and Macclesfield as he dropped down the leagues.
Niasse recently turned out for Wythenshawe in non-league football, but will now turn his talents towards six-a-side football.
Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer have stepped away from Deportrio this season, with Sturridge replacing them.
Richards and Sturridge are now calling on Niasse to give them a dream start to the new Baller League season, after securing a late deal for the former Everton striker.
