To make matters worse, the refs only penalized the Steelers, while the Packers faced no consequences. At the moment, fans were convinced that the league was scripted again and the refs were ruining the entire system.

Things got absolutely nasty early in the fourth quarter on Saturday night. The players were not upset, but Steelers fans in the crowd were also sad. Then, when the tension boiled at its maximum level, a small fight broke out as emotions ran high.
It all started when Steelers linebacker Nate Herbig shoved one of two Packers players swarming Ben Skorownek during a special teams play. That single push lit the fuse.
The game officials got right in the middle trying to restore their control in the field. Thankfully, they managed to break things up quickly, but not before some officials fell hard onto the turf.
In the video that has since turned viral online, we could see a significant number of zebras being wiped out trying to separate the players.

But here’s where it gets properly dodgy. Somehow, only the Steelers received a penalty from the entire mess, and the Packers walked away clean. No shared penalties at all, and that pinched every steer’s fan whether they were in the crowd or watching the game from home.
One Steel City fan wrote, “Refs completely ruined the game @NFL.”
Another explained, “I’m not even a Steelers fan. They’re getting absolutely screwed tonight … this is not even an offsetting penalty??? Only the Steelers get the 15 yards? This is disgraceful tonight.”
A third said, “Lmao and they only call it on the Steelers. NFL got some explaining to do.”
A fourth added, “Refs have something against Pittsburgh tonight you can’t make this stuff up.”
A fifth claimed, “One of the most obvious rigged games. It’s insane.”
Another random X user remarked, “When refs call a shitty game, the players take responsibility themselves.”
The officiating was awful across the league Sunday. Fans were frustrated after constant missed and questionable calls against both sides. But Pittsburgh bore the brunt of it.
The result? Steelers dropped to 4-3. Despite being the NFL’s most expensive unit, their front seven crumbled without any justification. Even Aaron Rodgers couldn’t help much after smelling his banned substance.
They allowed just seven points in the first half. Then the floodgates opened with a whopping 21 points in the fourth quarter.
