Chelsea could be set to welcome back their striker Liam Delap following a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action for two months.
The Blues take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup this Wednesday, and the 22-year-old could be available for the tie.
Last week, Enzo Maresca revealed that Delap had returned to training and would likely be ready for the Wolves game.
It could be the perfect match for him for a couple of reasons.

Wolves have the second worst defensive record in the Premier League
Right now, Wolves are at the bottom of the Premier League table, which is not a surprise when you look at their defensive record.
Vitor Pereira’s side, who are yet to win a league game this season, have conceded 19 goals. Only West Ham United have let in more.
Rank Team Number of goals conceded
1. West Ham 20
2. Wolves 19
3. Burnley 17
= Nottingham Forest 17
5. Brighton & Hove Albion 15
It is not just Delap. Any striker in world football would love to play Wolves right now. However, it is the Englishman who will get the opportunity to on Wednesday if he is fit enough to feature.
If not, Marc Guiu or Tyrique George will be expected to start up front for Maresca’s side.
Guiu was recently criticised by Troy Deeney, who cannot see the Spaniard making it at Chelsea. He will be looking to prove the former Premier League striker wrong on Wednesday and should get some minutes regardless of whether Delap plays or not.
Liam Delap has punished Wolves before
Another reason why Delap will want to play against Wolves is because he knows that he can score against them.
Towards the end of last season, Delap’s former club Ipswich Town lost 2-1 to Wolves at Portman Road. However, it was Delap who managed to grab Ipswich’s only goal of the game.
You would now back the Chelsea striker to step onto the Molineux pitch this Wednesday before scoring another goal against Pereira’s men.
