The Green Bay Packers entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations.
They looked like a juggernaut in the first two games, but not so much since then.
That’s why it was nice to see them bounce back in a big way on “Sunday Night Football.”
After watching them dominate the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second half of the Week 8 victory, former NFL player Damien Woody made a big statement about Green Bay.
“If Jordan Love is going to play like that, the Green Bay Packers are going to find themselves in Santa Clara in February,” Woody said, referencing this season’s Super Bowl site.

Love had a season-best 360 passing yards and three passing touchdowns.
Going against mentor Aaron Rodgers clearly sparked his competitive fire, and he delivered one of the most impressive performances of his career.
Notably, Love has been doing that fr most of the season, but the problem is that he hasn’t been given that much freedom.
Head coach Matt LaFleur has kept him on a short leash, yet he’s still put up MVP-caliber numbers.
In seven games, Love has completed 70.9 percent of his passes for 1,798 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
Fans have been critical of Love in the past, as he had a worrisome tendency to put the ball in harm’s way or play hero ball in crucial moments.
But he finally looks more mature and calm in the pocket, and the Packers look like a real championship threat.
