Scorigami has become a fun stat for NFL viewers in recent seasons. It provides excitement for the chance to witness something in each game that’s never been seen before. The premise is quite simple.
The database provides a collection of every final score ever recorded in NFL history. There are dozens yet to be achieved dating back to 1922.
There are eight final scores, however, that have been recorded 150 times or more across the last 100+ seasons. Here, we’ll break each of those outcomes down.
Most common final scores in NFL history.
This is information that might just help you out when making your next NFL prop bet. Predicting the exact score is becoming a more and more popular option amongst sports bettors. It can be quite lucrative, too, when guessed correctly!
Much has changed in terms of offense and style of play since the 1920s. It’s made some of the outcomes a bit less prevalent of late. Still, these totals can provide a baseline when predicting future outcomes.
Below are the eight most common NFL final scores, starting with one that’s been seen on nearly 300 occasions.

The Cleveland Rams beat the Detroit Lions in the first ever 20-17 contest back in 1944. The score was achieved eight times in the 2024 season, and it’s been seen once thus far in 2025.

The first occurrence came in 1953. The New York Giants beat the Chicago Cardinals 23-20 during a regular season road matchup. It wouldn’t happen again for another four years.
It’s been much more common of late with four games so far in 2025 ending in the final score. It happened eight times in 2024, including once in the playoffs.

The first ever 17-14 game came way back in 1933 when the Chicago Bears beat the Portsmouth Spartans.
This score has been a bit less popular of late having not been seen since the 2022 season. As offenses continue to become more explosive, this lower scoring outcome has become a bit of a rarity.

While it hasn’t yet been recorded in the 2025 NFL campaign, the 24-17 outcome has been seen seven times since the start of the 2023 season.
