During the Chicago Bears’ four-game winning streak, they received pick-me-ups from all three phases, but yesterday against the Baltimore Ravens, they were let down by all three. I’ll even throw in the coaching, because the game plan on both sides of the ball had some issues. That said, the Bears were facing a Ravens team much better than their one win would indicate, and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is one of the best all-time when coaching out of a bye week.
It was an unfortunate stinker for the Bears, who hadn’t lost since September 14 and also had the break of not having to face Lamar Jackson.
Chicago was outplayed and outcoached, which happens on occasion. That other team is paid to make plays, too.
Do you still have faith in the Ben Johnson regime, or did you fall back into the all too comfortable panic mode?
