Kansas City has won four of its last five after an 0-2 start, picking up its second straight win last week in a 31-0 thumping of the visiting Las Vegas Raiders. The Chiefs' defense was dominant, limiting the Raiders to just 95 total yards while Patrick Mahomes finished 26-of-35 for 286 yards and three touchdowns, two to Rashee Rice, who was returning from a six-game suspension. Tackle Josh Simmons is out due to a personal matter, while guard Trey Smith is doubtful with a back injury.
Marcus Mariota starts at quarterback for the Commanders after Jayden Daniels aggravated his injured hamstring in last week's 44-22 road loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Washington has lost two straight and three of its last four. Kicker Matt Gay (back) and defensive tackle Daron Payne (toe) are questionable for Monday night. The Commanders split Mariota's first two starts of the season, most recently a road loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 28.
