LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A new report shows the Las Vegas Raiders have been the most penalized team in the NFL over the past decade.
According to a study by InGame.com, the Raiders were flagged 1,259 times from 2014 through 2024 — more than any other team in the league.
Those penalties cost the team 10,730 yards, the highest total recorded over those 10 years.
Raiders top the list
The Seattle Seahawks came in second with 1,249 penalties and 10,427 yards lost.
The study tracked accepted penalties only, giving a clear look at how much yardage each team has given up to flags.
Some seasons showed improvement
While the overall decade numbers are high, the report notes the Raiders have made progress in certain years.
In 2023, Las Vegas had the fewest accepted penalties in the NFL, marking a standout season for discipline.
However, in 2024, the team ranked 10th in total penalties — still an improvement compared to earlier years when the Raiders often led the league in flags.
Looking ahead
Analysts say the numbers reflect an aggressive playing style and several coaching changes throughout the decade.
As the team continues to build consistency under new leadership, limiting penalties remains a key focus heading into future seasons.
