Is Rashee Rice playing tonight? Why Chiefs WR is off to lackluster start in Week 8

The Kansas City Chiefs welcomed back wide receiver Rashee Rice last week and he immediately showed why they couldn't wait to get him back.

In his first game back from a six-game suspension, Rice posted seven catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns in an easy 31-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, Rice isn't off to the kind of start he had last week in the Week 8 game versus the Washington Commanders. Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Is Rashee Rice playing tonight?

UPDATE: Rice has his first two catches on the second series of the game and is now up to six yards.

Yes, Rice is active and in the lineup, he just hasn't been targeted yet.

The Chiefs had a nice long drive on their first series but couldn't finish it off. Despite moving the ball well, Rice didn't get involved.

We'll see if he gets his first catch on drive No. 2.
