Travis Kelce made more NFL history on Monday night — and the cameras made sure to catch Taylor Swift’s reaction when he did. It comes after the music superstar has been keeping a low profile and sneaking into Arrowhead Stadium at games this season, away from the detection of cameras.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end hauled in a 10-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in the third quarter against the Washington Commanders, giving Kansas City a 21–7 lead and tying the franchise record for most total touchdowns in team history, despite the star duo combining for an awful moment earlier in the game.

It was Kelce’s 83rd career touchdown, pulling him level with legendary running back Priest Holmes — and moments later, ESPN’s broadcast cut to Swift in the stands, smiling as her fiancee celebrated yet another milestone. The moment came after ESPN interrupted its Monday Night Football coverage to deliver big breaking news before the game.

The touchdown didn’t just tie a team record; it also placed Kelce in elite NFL company.

The 34-year-old became just the fifth tight end in league history to record 80 career receiving touchdowns, joining Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, Rob Gronkowski, and Jimmy Graham.

The moment capped a strong first half for Kelce, who entered the game with 79 receiving touchdowns and two this season. With the Chiefs offense finding its rhythm, Mahomes looked his way on a quick route near the red zone.

Kelce slipped past his defender and made the grab at the edge of the end zone, sending Arrowhead Stadium into a frenzy.

Seconds later, the ESPN cameras panned to Swift, breaking her low profile from earlier in the night.

Swift had managed to stay out of sight through most of the first half, seated in a private suite next to Brittany Mahomes. But as soon as Kelce scored, the broadcast captured her standing and cheering — a brief moment that quickly went viral across social media.

On the field, Kelce’s milestone only added to the Chiefs’ momentum. Kansas City had stumbled early — Mahomes threw two interceptions, one off Kelce’s hands — but rebounded to take control by halftime.

A 38-yard catch-and-run by Kelce set up Kareem Hunt’s second touchdown earlier in the game, and his third-quarter score helped Kansas City pull away from a Commanders squad missing starting quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Kelce’s production this season remains steady despite increased defensive attention.

Through seven games, he’s tallied 31 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns, putting him potentially on pace for another 1,000-yard season. His chemistry with Mahomes continues to anchor Kansas City’s offense, even as new faces rotate through the wide receiver room.
