Sunday was National Tight Ends Day, a holiday invented by 49ers tight end George Kittle in 2018 to be celebrated each year on the fourth Sunday of October.
Appropriately, it was a big day for South Dakota State's tight ends.

Dallas Goedert scored twice in the Eagles' win over the Giants, and Tucker Kraft then had the biggest game of his career in a Sunday night win over the Steelers and former SDSU teammate Mason McCormick. Kraft's performance was so impressive he was featured in the NBC postgame interviews with Melissa Stark, and was able to give a shoutout to the Corner Bar in Timber Lake.
The two tight ends were the highlight but they weren't the only former Jackrabbits (or Coyotes) to have a big day on Sunday.
Here's how the NFL's South Dakotans performed in Week 8:
Jack Cochrane, LB, Chiefs (USD)
The Chiefs' special teams ace saw significant action on defense and notched his first career interception while adding three tackles in KC's win over Washington.
Isaiah Davis, RB, Jets (SDSU)
Had his biggest game as a pro on the same day the Jets finally got their first win, rushing for 65 yards on seven carries, including a 50-yard run, while also catching five passes for 44 yards. He set single-game career highs in rushing and receiving yards.
CJ Ham, RB, Vikings (Augustana)
Did not play due to an injury.
Myles Harden, CB, Browns (USD)
Had one tackle in the Browns' loss to the Patriots.
