Micah Parsons does not hold back on Dallas Cowboys

Superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys had a rather high-profile separation this offseason that resulted in the team trading him to the Green Bay Packers. Now, Parsons is with a new team, but he is not happy with the way the Cowboys are treating one of his former teammates.

Over the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys decided to place cornerback Trevon Diggs on injured reserve after he suffered a concussion. However, Parsons is not happy with the way the team handled his recovery from a catastrophic knee injury that ended his season last year.

“Honestly, I feel like they \[expletive\] my dog over, you know what I mean?” Parsons told [Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports](https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/micah-parsons-questions-cowboys-handling-of-trevon-diggs-health-i-think-they-let-him-down-202549695.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly90LmNvLw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAALDYfH7maPXXdUMiJIf6oa3ahvPDo4lVKusZ2I7XQmx2wXBtTkbDPJgfFYtUTkz06NIhPPsOu3-HEu0fgUq74Fkz3t_Mw7AfP-rizk8F7F1sBXVJvvsFVGb_WVgHj6J3RP6y7nUAiTstSP92pBZGhr81fBXMbOPZN0Q5IjJJ-Ykz) on Sunday. “He’s coming off a catastrophic knee injury and I just didn’t think they did right by him. He didn’t participate all camp and he’s going out there playing Week 1 and 2. I just don’t think you do that to a player like that.

“And the type of knee injury he had, they forced him out there. He has no reps really. He’s telling me he was in warmup phase during Week 1. Even with the ramp-up, I just feel like you just don’t do that.”

Parsons does not think that the team handled Grimes’ recovery well and “let him down” by rushing him back to the field.

“I just feel like they screwed him over,” Parsons said. “The organization let him down. You know what I mean? You just don’t do that to a player. And I just think it was mad wrong and I just pray for him.”

The Cowboys chose not to respond to Parsons’ criticism, according to Epstein.
