Leeds are enjoying their return to the Premier League under Daniel Farke.

Leeds’ 2-1 win over West Ham leaves them 15th in the Premier League, and they’ve fashioned a six-point gap over the relegation zone.

Following the victory over the Hammers, Leeds are now expected to achieve Premier League survival.

Elland Road has played a huge role in their early-season success, yet their away form is an area in which they could improve.

Leeds‘ next match will be an incredibly tough test, as they face a trip to take on Brighton on Saturday.

Brighton predicted as heavy favourites to beat Leeds

Daniel Farke faced pressure ahead of the West Ham match, yet it’s clear that Leeds are doing very well on their return to the Premier League.

According to Opta’s supercomputer, Farke’s side could be set for another defeat on the road.

Brighton have been given a 66.3 per cent chance of claiming all three points

Leeds have a 15.3 per cent chance of securing their second away win of the season

A draw has been given a 18.4 per cent probability of occurring

The Peacocks have struggled on the road this season, having failed to score in three of their four away matches.

Leeds’ 3-1 victory over Wolves was an anomaly in what has otherwise been a string of frustrating performances at Turf Moor, Craven Cottage, and the Emirates.

The Brighton match will be a huge challenge for Farke‘s side, yet recording wins against teams with not much to play for could go a long way in their attempts to secure Premier League survival.

What may be a good omen for Leeds fans is that their recent results against Brighton are fantastic.

Leeds can continue excellent head-to-head record over Brighton

Whilst Brighton have been excellent in recent years, they have struggled to beat Leeds in meetings between the pair.

In their six Premier League meetings, Leeds haven’t lost to Brighton, whilst they’ve only suffered defeat to the Seagulls in three of the previous 20 meetings.

Brighton have beaten Man City and Chelsea this season, yet they dropped points against 20th-placed Wolves, and lost to Everton.

Their Achilles heel is a team that is hard to break down, and if Farke gets his tactics spot on, then a win is more than within the realms of possibility.
