The NBA has reportedly sent a memo to all 30 teams calling for a review of sports betting regulations and integrity measures, following the indictment of Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat player Terry Rozier last week.

Billups and Rozier are accused of being involved in alleged illegal sports betting and rigged poker games, with the FBI investigating both matters.
The Associated Press says it has now obtained a note sent by the NBA’s legal department to all 30 basketball teams in the competition.
It reportedly says: “Given the spread of legal betting to the majority of US states, the recurrence of integrity issues across sports, and the emergence of novel betting formats and markets, this is an opportune time to carefully reassess how sports betting should be regulated and how sports leagues can best protect themselves, their players, and their fans.”
The reported memo follows comments from NBA commissioner Adam Silver on Friday in response to the allegations.
As reported by ESPN, Silver said he was “deeply disturbed” by the claims, which he said left him with a “pit in my stomach.”
"There's nothing more important to the league and its fans than the integrity of the competition,” Silver added.
