Eddie Howe has provided an injury update on Lewis Hall ahead of Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur.
There has been hope that Lewis Hall would return from injury on Wednesday night when Newcastle United face Spurs in the Carabao Cup.
The 21-year-old has missed the Magpies’ previous four games, with his last appearance coming in the Champions League victory over Union Saint-Gilloise.
Hall is set to miss one more game, having been ruled out of the Carabao Cup contest at St James’ Park. However, he could be back in the Newcastle United squad on Sunday when Eddie Howe takes his side to West Ham.
Ahead of facing Spurs, Howe said: “Lewis is the closest to coming back out of those injured, but this game will come too quickly for him.”

Injury updates on Sven Botman and Tino Livramento
Howe also provided injury updates on Sven Botman and Tino Livramento, with the former coming off during Newcastle’s win over Fulham with a head injury.
The Newcastle United manager confirmed that Botman has not suffered a concussion, but he remains a doubt for the cup clash with Spurs.
Howe said: “Sven has no concussion, it was a cut, a bad cut, which he had stapled together. He didn’t train yesterday, but we will see how he is today.”

As for Livramento’s knee injury, the club are hoping that he could return at home to Manchester City on 22nd November. That is the first game back after the November international break.
On the right-back, Howe said: “Tino is still on track, we are looking at the Manchester City game for him for when he can be available for.”
Elsewhere in defence, Harrison Ashby has returned to training after a thigh injury. However, the 23-year-old has never made a senior appearance for Newcastle United and that feels unlikely to change against Spurs on Wednesday night.
