Everton are looking to add a new striker in January and reported target Gabriel Jesus has hinted at who his next club could be.
David Moyes was left rueing missed opportunities from his side at the weekend in the defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.
Over the last two games, Everton have failed to find the back of the net despite the chances being created by the likes of Iliman Ndiaye.
Everton News understands that Everton will try to sign a new striker when the January window opens for business.
A number of names will be thrown into the mix over the coming months, with Beto and Thierno Barry struggling to find the back of the net.
It has already been suggested that Jesus is of interest to Everton ahead of January, and the Brazilian has now spoken on his future.

Gabriel Jesus speaks out on Arsenal future amid Everton interest
Jesus is not the only Brazilian of interest, with Richarlison open to a return to Everton in 2026.

The Arsenal man could become Everton’s new Brazilian star man if he was to make the move to Merseyside in the coming months.
Speaking to Brazilian outlet Placar, Jesus has shared what those at Arsenal are telling him about his future as he recovers from injury.
“Palmeiras’ interest will always be there, both on their part and on my own. But nothing formal has happened,” said the Arsenal striker.
“It’s the natural interest of a kid who came through the Palmeiras youth system, went to Europe, and obviously wants to return one day. Everyone at the club knows that.”
“There’s never been any contact with anyone at the club or my staff. Every day, the coach and the board say they’re eager for my return,” he added.
“I don’t see myself outside the club’s plans. My contract runs until 2027, and if it’s not renewed by then, I’ll be at the club at least until 2027.”
Tim Sherwood slammed Beto after the Spurs defeat on Sunday afternoon as he failed to find the back of the net again.
With Jesus showing a real desire to remain at Arsenal, it leaves Everton with a big decision to make as to who they should target in January.
Jesus could guide Everton to European qualification
Results in recent weeks have not been what Everton would have hoped for, but there should still be a lot of optimism around the club.
Everton are targeting European qualification this season under Moyes.
After a strong summer window, adding a player like Jesus could be exactly what Everton need to close the gap on the European places.
Despite his injury struggles of late, Jesus is determined to return to the action and battle for the top honours at Arsenal.
“I watch a lot of La Liga and Serie A matches, and I think they’re championships with beautiful gameplay. It certainly makes me want to try it, but my goal is to win titles with Arsenal,” said Jesus.
A player with this level of hunger could prove the missing link to bring Everton’s struggles in front of goal to an end.
Moyes has been disappointed with Beto, but having a striker pushing himself to compete at the top table would be music to the ears of the 62-year-old Everton boss.
