Raiders WR Is Drawing Strong Trade Interest

The 2025-26 NFL trade deadline arrives at 4 p.m. ET on November 4, and speculation is building around several notable names across the league.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has emerged as one of the most discussed players in recent days.

The veteran receiver is playing out the final year of his current contract and has made his desire for a fresh start publicly known.

His situation has generated significant interest from multiple franchises, though the Raiders appear hesitant to engage in serious negotiations.

“Multiple teams have shown interest in trading for #Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers,” Insider Jordan Schultz provided an update on the situation on X. “However, teams have had a hard time getting a clear read on whether Las Vegas is truly willing to move him. The belief is it would take at least a Day 2 pick for the Raiders to even consider it.”

Meyers initially requested a trade back in August after contract extension discussions reached an impasse with the organization.

The Raiders rejected that request and kept him on the roster heading into the season.

His production through seven games has been consistent but unremarkable, totaling 29 receptions for 329 yards without finding the end zone.

When reporters asked him recently about his trade stance, Meyers maintained his position has not changed, according to ESPN.

Las Vegas sits at 2-5 under first-year head coach Pete Carroll, effectively eliminating any realistic playoff hopes for this season.

Last year, Meyers posted career-best numbers with 87 catches for 1,027 yards and four touchdowns despite inconsistent quarterback play throughout the campaign.

This season, new starting quarterback Geno Smith has struggled with ball security, matching Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa for the league lead with 10 interceptions.

Trading Meyers would leave the receiving corps thin, with Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, and rookie Dont’e Thornton assuming larger roles in a passing attack that already faces challenges.
