Over 10,000 tickets have been sold for the Tyne-Wear derby between Newcastle United Women and Sunderland Women in the Women’s Super League 2.
The match is set to take place on November 16 at St. James’ Park, which is traditionally home to English Premier League club, Newcastle United.
Last season’s match between the rivals saw an attendance of 38,502, which set a new Women’s Super League 2 record.
The stadium has a capacity of 52,000.
Tickets are now on general sale, priced at £8.50 (/€10/$11.30) for adults and £3 for juniors. Premium tickets are also available, including Directors Box seating, a deli sandwich and side, tea/coffee and a matchday programme.
Newcastle United Women is also participating in the Fan Choice and Alcohol in the Bowl project, which allows fans to drink alcohol while watching the game.
Sunderland is currently fifth in the WSL 2 table, while Newcastle is ninth.
