The Trojans 2025 offense is ranked No. 5 in scoring nationally in seven games, but a return to form this season has meant getting the football to positions less utilized than in past seasons.
Humming along with 42-plus points a game, the Trojans are currently scoring 12 more points a game than last season. And while USC has five more regular season games left to play, the Trojans run to pass ratio itself is at a difference of 48 plays plus rusher.
USC is running the football more, but also targeting the tight end position more than in years' past. Sunday, the Trojans added a second tight end to the class of 2026.
Southwestern College three-star tight end Josiah Jefferson became the Trojans' No. 35 verbal commitment.
