While it’s still over a month away, the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles have a huge matchup looming in Week 14 that could prove to be significant for both teams as they vie for top seeding in their respective conferences. However, ESPN announced Tuesday that the Monday Night Football game will have a cool twist for younger fans tuning in.

Eagles vs. Chargers on 12/8 (Week 14) will have an alternate MONSTERS INC. themed animated broadcast called “Monsters Funday Football Edition.”

While the normal ESPN broadcast will feature broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, ESPN2 will give an alternate feed with a Monsters Inc. animated edition that shows off the classic movie from the early 2000s.

The game will feature famous characters from the movie like Mike Wazowski and Sully rooting on the two NFL teams, while the entire program will be set up in the Monsters Inc. factory.

It’s certainly a good choice by the network with big stars involved in the matchup like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Justin Herbert and Ladd McConkey. Herbert, in particular, has been featured heavily recently in the public eye as his relationship with singer and influencer Madison Beer continues to grow.
