West Ham have received a welcome boost as George Earthy steps up his recovery from injury, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
The Academy midfielder has been absent all season thus far, having spent last season on a successful loan at Bristol City, with many expecting the talented play maker to feature for the club this campaign.
Its now reported by Ex that Earthy is stepping up his recovery and is set to feature for the club today in an U21’s fixture against Swindon Town.
“George Earthy is back in full training for West Ham in a more positive injury update,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “The talented youngster is expected to get some minutes today in the under 21s fixture at Swindon Town.
“He is unlikely to play the full game but should get some minutes from the start as he looks to build up his match fitness in time for a return to the senior squad. West Ham could do with his energy in midfield so his return is most welcome.
“Niclas Fulkrug has been training on his own for the week as he recovers from a thigh strain. He is not yet ready to resume to full training.
“Dan Cummings will be on the bench for the U21s and Earthy js expected to start.”
