**Nuno Espirito Santo does not have a contract that means he will receive no compensation if dismissed, its been reported by ExWHUEmployee.**
Despite the manager only being at the post for a matter of weeks, there is growing concern amongst many following his performance – mainly due to squad selection, which has caused speculation surrounding his future.
Our club insider Ex has provided an update on the situation on The West Ham Way Patreon, with Ex advising that rumours of a no-compensation clause are not true.
“There have been rumours circulating today that Nuno Espirito Santos agreed to sign a contract with West Ham that contained no compensation clauses should he be sacked this season,” stated Ex.
“Whilst we thought this would be an odd thing to do, we put the question to the club and got back the straight to the point answer of “Not True”.
“This makes more sense and would explain why West Ham are likely to give the manager more time to turn around the current situation.”
