4:32 p.m. -- RB Cam Skattebo, who underwent successful surgery on his dislocated ankle Sunday night at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital Presbyterian campus, was discharged from the hospital and will begin rehab immediately.
"He's recovering," coach Brian Daboll told reporters early Monday afternoon. "Obviously he'll be missed, but on the road to recovery."
The rookie running back suffered the injury with 8:07 left in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Eagles in Philadelphia. He was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation and ultimately surgery. Beforehand, the rookie had three carries for 12 yards and one catch that he took 18 yards for a touchdown. Skattebo, a fourth-round pick from Arizona State, entered Week 8 leading all NFL rookies in yards from scrimmage and touchdowns.
