Crystal Palace will be without Chris Richards for Wednesday’s trip to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.
The 25-year-old picked up a calf niggle and will not travel to Merseyside with the squad.
Eagles boss Oliver Glasner does not expect Richards to be out for more than one game but admitted he will not rush him back for Saturday’s clash with Brentford.
Teenage defender Jaydee Canvot will start in Richards’ place in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.
"We have just one issue, Chris Richards has a calf issue, so he won't make the trip to Liverpool. Everyone else is fine and have recovered well.
"I don't think that Chris is a risk for the weekend at the moment, but we don't take any risks. Chris didn't play against Larnaca, we rested him in this game.
"It's not that his load is high, so we don't know more at the moment.
"Jaydee will start. He deserves it. He is doing well in training, so we trust him and that's why he will start in the back three.
Walter Benitez will also start in place of Dean Henderson in goal, as he did in the penalty shoot-out win against Millwall in the last round.
