Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers enjoyed a quality road win against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football and also set some records along the way. Love specifically had a vintage performance and joined Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre at the top of a very impressive franchise record.

Jordan Love Ties Brett Favre’s Record For Most Consecutive Completions By A Green Bay Quarterback
After an underwhelming first half, Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers offense were not playing up to their level in Pittsburgh on Sunday. However, the momentum soon changed in the second half, largely thanks to stellar offensive play.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (10) hands the ball off to running back Josh Jacobs (8) during the first half against the against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA on October 26, 2025.
Love began the second half on a heater and went on an unbelievable streak of 20 straight completions. The impressive run tied a Green Bay franchise record set by the one and only Brett Favre. Throughout the game, Love completed passes to ten different pass-catchers – 5 receivers, 3 tight ends, and 2 running backs.
Favre later took to social media to congratulate Love on the achievement.

Jordan Love Laughs About Record – “I Wish Someone Had Told Me”
Days after the game, Jordan Love joined host Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Show to discuss the great performance. Adams asked if Love had been aware of the long streak during the game, to which Love admitted that he did not. During the game, while players of course are aware of how they are playing in a general sense, they are not always aware of specific stats.

Love said that he enjoys seeing stats after the game, but in the moment, he had been unaware of the streak. He jokingly said that if someone had made him aware, he would have tried to break the franchise record.
“I had no idea honestly, I didn’t know until after the game, somebody told me, and I told Matt, joking around, I’m like man I wish somebody would’ve told me. I wouldn’t have dirted the one I did to Tuck.”

On the dropback that could have resulted in his franchise-record-setting 21st straight completion, Love ended up throwing the ball away on second down in the direction of tight end Tucker Kraft, who ended the game with 7 receptions for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Adams asked about the phenomenon of players keeping their distance from teammates who are playing exceptionally well so as to not mess with the “juju” or the situation. Love replied that while it was a possibility, he wishes his teammates would have told him in the moment.
Either way, Love has now joined Favre in the record books for the consecutive completions category and is also starting to garner some hype for the NFL MVP award. While records are fun and always make headlines, Love and the Packers will be more focused on emulating historic Green Bay teams by winning the franchise’s first Super Bowl since the 2010-11 season.
