West Ham’s miserable start to the season has seen them struggling at both ends of the pitch.
Sitting 19th in the Premier League, they’ve conceded more goals than any other side while also failing to find the net consistently.
With Michail Antonio gone, Jarrod Bowen unable to shoulder the burden alone, and Callum Wilson and Niclas Füllkrug failing to make an impact due to injuries and form, Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly eyeing a bold January move to bring in a striker who is currently flying in Europe.

According to TEAMtalk, Mason Greenwood’s resurgence at Marseille has sparked interest from several clubs, with West Ham among those circling the 24-year-old forward.
Greenwood — who endured a difficult end to his Manchester United career due to allegations of sexual assault, which were ultimately dropped — has rediscovered his goalscoring touch in Ligue 1, netting 21 goals last season and already eight in all competitions this term.
A four-goal haul against Le Havre in October prompted Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi to call him “incredibly talented.”
While Barcelona are reportedly leading the race for Greenwood, sources suggest Tottenham and West Ham are also monitoring the former England international, seeing him as a player who could help turn around their struggling season.
However, convincing Greenwood to return to the Premier League could prove tricky, as he is keen to play in top European competitions and may see a move back to England as a step down.
Given West Ham’s current position, that certainly would be the case, but if Greenwood would be open to the challenge and can save the club’s season – he’d no doubt go down as a club hero.
