Chiefs' Andy Reid reacts to Travis Kelce's record night vs. Commanders

It was quite the night for the Kansas City Chiefs in their 28-7 win over the Washington Commanders as Andy Reid's team moved to 5-3 ahead of a monster clash against the Buffalo Bills.

A second-half explosion saw the Chiefs outscore the Commanders 21-0, and a big reason for that was the play of tight end Travis Kelce.

The 13-year veteran hauled in six catches for 99 yards and a touchdown, which tied him for the most all-time in Chiefs history (83) with Priest Holmes, as it is yet another accolade for Travis, and he could move into outright first in the coming weeks should he find the end zone again.

“It was a compliment to him,” Reid said on Kelce tying Holmes. “There have been some great tight ends here over the years, so for him to be able to do what he's done over this amount of time is great. You see that energy. He's got energy every day, he's not the youngest guy, he just goes and goes.”

Chiefs set up mouthwatering Bills clash

It is fair to say that Kansas City is all the way back, and after a poor first half that saw Patrick Mahomes intercepted twice (could make the case neither was his fault), the Chiefs flipped the switch in the second half.

Kansas City would take the ball and score a touchdown on the first possession, before going touchdown, touchdown to put the game away in brutal fashion.

Up next are the 6-2 Buffalo Bills, who weren't at their best in the 40-9 win over the Carolina Panthers, and now we get the next installment of this AFC heavyweight clash.

And who knows, maybe this is the game Kelce moves into outright first for Chiefs touchdowns in the process.
