Ed Oliver’s injury-plagued 2025 season continues.
The Buffalo Bills officially placed their standout defensive tackle on injured reserve on Tuesday with a torn biceps.
Oliver, 27, incurred the injury during the team’s 40-9 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Earlier in the day on Tuesday, Oliver posted on Instagram that he hoped to be back later this season.
“I’ll be back just in time to play for it all 💍✍🏽.”

“I’ll be back just in time to play for it all,” he wrote alongside a ring emoji.
Oliver had previously missed four contests with an ankle injury incurred during a midweek practice.
Oliver was originally taken with the ninth overall selection of the 2019 NFL Draft out of his hometown Houston Cougars.
In three games this season, Oliver had recorded 12 tackles, a forced fumble and 3.0 sacks.
Oliver is in the second year of a four-year, $68 million deal.
The team also added DT Jordan Phillips and veteran safety Jordan Poyer to the active roster.
The Bills (5-2) host the Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) in Orchard Park on Sunday.
