Djurgården’s youngster Taseen Hossain is set to have a trial with Brentford.
That’s according to Fotboll Direkt, and they say the 17-year-old is a ‘super talent’ who will meet Brentford.
According to the report, the Bangladesh-born attacker will soon travel to England for the Brentford trial.
Hossain can operate in wide positions and also in the middle of the pitch. He’s said to thrive on pace and technique and can showcase his qualities during the trip to the Bees.
The outlet had a chat with the teenager, who is thrilled to have received an opportunity from the Premier Lague side. He also thanked the Swedish club for granting permission to travel to Brentford.
“That’s right. Brentford is a great club and I’m really looking forward to the chance. It’s a great chance and I’m very grateful to Djurgården for letting me go to this trial match,” he said.
Hossain receiving a contract offer from Kieth Andrews’ side will depend on how he does during his visit to England.
Djurgården academy director Joel Riddez is pleased the young attacker has a chance to showcase himself at Brentford.
“We see it as a fun challenge for him to try it out,” Riddez explained.
Djurgården, for their part, aren’t giving up on him just yet. Fotboll Direkt state they could soon offer him a first-team contract if the attacker were to continue with them.
