Fields’s Sunday performance continues to stir in the NFL world. He completed 21 of 32 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown. Moreover, the team has had its best rushing yards since 2021, as they have amassed 502 total yards with 254 on the ground. Additionally, he helped the team come back from a 15-point deficit in the third quarter and beat the Bengals.

The last seven days have been very unpleasant for Fields. First, he was benched at halftime after a horrendous play against the Panthers in which he could only catch six of twelve passes for 46 yards. Moreover, against Denver, he was sacked nine times and registered 45 yards.

Following the showdown against the Panthers, the head coach, Glenn, discussed the potential quarterback change after consulting with his close peers in the NFL.

Following Sunday’s victory, Glenn lauded Justin Fields for his historic comeback and appreciated how he handled himself off the field.

> _“Here’s the point that I think everybody’s missing: he was being vulnerable, but he was also teaching. He was teaching everybody out there that, listen, we’re humans, and things happen in our lives.”_

Although the head coach praised Fields, he might not commit to being a starter when the team faces the Browns after the bye week. According to him, as the bye week approaches, the team will focus more on evaluating their performances before making any decisions, showing that there’s still work to be done.

Glenn’s response was a bit skeptical as far as Justin Fields’ Job is concerned, but he did make a legendary comeback this Sunday
