Wait until Rashee Rice comes back. That's what we heard from Kansas City Chiefs fans when the offense stuttered and spluttered early in the season.
Well, since No. 4 has returned, so too has the Chiefs' explosive offense, and in the 28-7 win over the Washington Commanders, Rice was a deciding factor in Kansas City's ability to score on three straight second-half possessions.
In total, nine catches from nine receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown, as Rice is again showing just how valuable he is to the Chiefs' offense and Andy Reid.
"I thought he did good,β Reid said of Rashee. βHe loves to play, and he's so competitive, I love the way he goes about it. He just works his tail off, and then he's so physical out there. He's like having another running back as a wide receiver.β

Rice key to Chiefs' playoff push
Now with his full array of weapons, Patrick Mahomes looks like "MVP Mahomes" over the past couple of weeks, and the return of Rice has helped that.
In his two games, Rice has already posted 135 yards and three touchdowns from 16 receptions to be the best offensive weapon as Mahomes' disposal, because, of course, right?
Now at 5-3, the Chiefs appear to be just warming up for yet another assault on the Super Bowl, and after being 0-2, Kansas City has won five out of its last six games and has scored at least 28 points per game.
The AFC kings have awoken from their slumber, with Rice being the catalyst for the Chiefs going from also-rans to Super Bowl contenders in a matter of weeks.
