A Controversial Link That Will Not be Popular

The former Manchester United striker remains a controversial figure. He was suspended and later released by the Red Devils following the leak of highly disturbing video footage. After facing charges of attempted rape and assault in 2022 — which were later dropped — Greenwood was frozen out by United before rebuilding his career abroad.

He joined Getafe on loan, impressing in La Liga, before making a permanent move to Marseille in July 2024. The forward, who has since switched international allegiance from England to Jamaica, has been in sensational form in Ligue 1 this season.

Reports today link him with moves to both Barcelona and West Ham, though the reaction from Hammers fans has been overwhelmingly negative.
