Arne Slot is set to give some youngsters a chance for some minutes when they feature in the Carabao Cup this week.
The Reds have very little time to reflect on everything that is going badly at the moment as they have another game right around the corner.
Crystal Palace are their opponents, a team that has become a bit of a bogey side for them this season after already beating them twice, once in the Community Shield and the other in the league.

Slot is expected to make a few changes to his side, as well as take some youth stars for the bench, with there being one player in particular who deserves a chance more than most.

Josh Sonni-Lambie deserves to make his Liverpool debut
Liverpool’s academy is one of the most well-respected in the world, with the club constantly churning out top talent.
Next on the conveyor belt is Josh Sonni-Lambie, with the 17-year-old making real waves in the ranks as of late.
Sonni-Lambie has recently been promoted to the Under 21 side, with performances for the Under 19s catching the eye of Rob Page.
He has also shone in the UEFA Youth League only last week, with his application surely being enough to get on the pitch at some point against Crystal Palace.

The young forward mainly operates as a striker, suggesting that if he does get some game time, it will be when coming on to replace Hugo Ekitike.
Arne Slot needs to be careful against Crystal Palace
Rotating your team for a fourth round cup game might seem pretty normal and required at this point in the season, but Slot just needs to be cautious.
Liverpool need to win this game and changing too much or going too weak could seriously backfire, which means youngsters should only get minutes off the bench if the game is already won with time to spare.
If the Reds were not in this run of form, players like Sonni-Lambie would likely see more minutes, but the situation might not be quite right for him to get a big chance on Wednesday night.
With his quality, though, he would not need long to impress, so although young stars like Rio Ngumoha will be playing, Liverpool fans should keep an eye out for Sonni-Lambie.
