Saints Take On Real Madrid At St Mary's This Evening

It's a big night for Southampton U21's this Wednesday evening, they take on their counterparts from Real Madrid in the Premier League International Cup, with around 10,000 tickets having already been sold, it's going to be a great night for kids both on and off the field.
It's not only a great chance for Southampton supporters to see how their own Academy players are developing, but also a chance to perhaps catch a rising star in the Spanish clubs ranks, with some of their players said to be two years ahead of their age in their development.
This is the first game for Saints in this years competition, but for Real Madrid it is their second having already beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 a few weeks ago.
The Saints squad will have a few players on the verge of the first team, Cameron Bragg who played in the final minutes at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and Nick Oyekunle who was an unused sub, will both return to the U21 squad for this game.
Oyekunie especially is one many Saints fans will want to see and some feel that he should be getting game time in the first team given our goalscoring issues.
Tickets are just £7 for adults and for those under 18 it is free, so Saints are expecting a bumper crowd with a lot of tickets sold today either online or at the ground.
