Scarles could be seen in serious discomfort and it was deemed a scan was required to determine the extent of the injury.

Ex has now reported on The West Ham Way Podcast that the player has suffered a serious injury to his collar bone which could well require surgery.

“It’s bad news in regards to Scarles unfortunately, with the player suffering a collar bone injury,” stated Ex. “It could well be that surgery is needed and will mean a period on the side lines, in another injury blow to Nuno following the injury to Mavropanos – who is out for 4-6 weeks at present.”
