Tottenham and Chelsea make contract to sign 17 goals in 46 matches player

Palmeiras have made their stance on Vitor Roque clear. According to Bolavip, Chelsea and Tottenham both made informal enquiries but were told the striker is not for sale. The club will only consider an “irresistible” offer above £42m (€50m).

Both Premier League sides had been loosely linked with the striker earlier this month, but journalist Jorge Nicola later claimed that neither club held genuine interest.

Still, Palmeiras are aware that Roque’s current form has drawn renewed attention from Europe and have set their position early.

Sources close to the board told Bolavip that selling Roque now would hurt the team’s sporting goals. The player agrees. After rebuilding his form in 2025, he believes staying at Palmeiras gives him the best chance to reach the World Cup.

Roque has scored 17 goals in 46 matches this season. Abel Ferreira values his pressing and intensity as much as his finishing. Inside the squad, he is known for being “intense, competitive and exemplary” in training.

A recent CIES Football Observatory study valued Roque between £55m and £64m, the highest among players in Brazil. Palmeiras believe he is the face of their future both on and off the pitch.

For now, the club have one message: Roque is staying. Despite the speculation involving Tottenham and Chelsea, Palmeiras expect him to focus fully on the final stretch of the season, as they’re still fighting for two major titles.
